
In 2024, Parrett Gallery International launched a new contemporary art space in Florida’s Gulf Coast known for its stunningly white beaches and sparkling blue waters and celebrated as one of Florida’s main cultural and get away destinations on the Gulf of Mexico.
The gallery reflects Florida’s position as a cosmopolitan—as well as artistic—entrepôt, as it boasts of a strong parallel of new contemporary art programs.
The gallery has initiated a series of collaborations, working with external artists, writers, and emergent curators and extended the reach of its program beyond the confines of the white cube. In this way, the gallery affirms its commitment to documenting, archiving and historicizing—in addition to direct support—of artistic production in the region.
The gallery has had the privilege of bearing witness to the tremendous transformations that currently taking place on the regional art scene in Florida’s northwest seaside communities, bringing some of the world’s best-known artists from Europe and the United States, working across diverse media, whose practices are rigorously researched, idea-led, and representative of the current moment.
The gallery serves the cultural communities of Florida’s Pensacola Beach, Gulf Breeze, Navarre Beach, Fort Walton Beach, Destin and beyond.
